OSWEGO, NY (August 31, 2014) – After a holding pattern of over four hours, rain has stopped in the Port City of Oswego, allowing Oswego Speedway officials to set a plan for today’s 58th running of the Budweiser International Classic 200.
Pits gates will officially open at 11:30 a.m., with grandstand gates opening at 1:30 p.m.
With track drying efforts underway, officials are hoping to have hot laps on the Speedway at approximately 1:30 p.m.
Once hot laps begin, the day’s action will not stop.
Officials have said that the program will move from hot laps, directly to the afternoon’s event schedule, meaning spectators are encouraged to be at the Speedway by 1:30 p.m.
