OSWEGO, NY (August 12, 2014) – A total of five test sessions will be conducted across a four-day span leading up to Oswego Speedway’s 58th annual Budweiser International Classic Weekend.
All five tests will be run in the same fashion to the weekly Fast Friday sessions, with one car allowed on track at a time, and a $200 fee per car to test.
Testing will be open to Novelis Supermodifieds, Pathfinder Bank Small Block Supers, Race of Champions Modifieds, and ATQMRA Midgets.
The International Supermodified Association teams are not permitted to test the week leading up to an event at the host facility.
Test sessions will be conducted from Monday, August 25 through Wednesday, August 27 from 4-8 p.m.
Two sessions will be conducted on Thursday, August 28. The first from 8-11 a.m. and the second from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., prior to the annual Party in the Pits.
In order to register for one of the test sessions, teams must call the track offices at (315) 342-0646 and register with Debbie Bond.
A total of seven teams have already reserved space for the afternoon session on Thursday, August 28.
Gary Morton’s supermodified driven by Dave McKnight, Dave Lair’s ‘Lair Jet’ driven by Ryan Litt, Davey Hamilton, Mike Lichty, Ray Graham, Kody Graham, and Joey Payne are all scheduled to take on the Thursday session from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The grandstand will be open for all test sessions, with free admission for spectators.
Budweiser International Classic Weekend will kick-off on Friday, August 29 with Corr/Pak Merchandising ‘Fast Friday’ featuring Budweiser International Classic ‘Fast 14’ Novelis Supermodified time trials, Bud Light SBS Classic ‘Super 6’ Pathfinder Bank Small Block Super time trials, and the RoC Modified 100.
A full day of practice begins on Friday at noon with Small Block Super ‘Super 6’ time trials hitting the Speedway at 6 p.m. followed by Supermodified ‘Fast 14’ time trials at 6:30 p.m.
Classic Weekend’s Bud Light ‘Super Saturday’ will feature the last round of the Shea Concrete ‘Steel Palace’ ISMA Super Series with the Bud Light ISMA Super Nationals, as well as the Bud Light SBS Classic 75, and the ATQMRA TQ Midget Classic.
Grandstands open at 3 p.m. on Saturday with qualifying getting underway at 5 p.m.
Budweiser International ‘Classic Sunday’ will see grandstand gates open at 9:30 a.m. and second round Supermodified time trials take to the Speedway at noon.
The 58th annual Budweiser International Classic 200 is expected to take the green flag at 3 p.m.

Weekend general admission seating is available for $105, with reserved seating set at $115.
