VFW Post 369 Men’s Auxiliary $100 Bonus to Supermodified Up & Comer in Saturday’s Spring Championship
OSWEGO, NY (May 28, 2014) – When Oswego Speedway’s Novelis Supermodified Spring Championship, presented by Best Western PLUS/Quality Inn and Suites and U-Pull U-Save Auto Parts, takes the green on Saturday night, one deserving driver will leave with an extra $100 from the VFW Post 369 Men’s Auxiliary in Mexico, NY.
Located at 5930 Scenice Ave. in Mexico, the Men’s Auxiliary of VFW Post 369 will give a $100 bonus to the Up & Comer recipient in the Novelis Supermodified division on Saturday night. The night’s Up & Comer is selected as the highest finishing driver that has never won a Oswego Speedway Novelis Supermodified main event.
The Mexico Men’s Auxiliary of VFW Post 369 will be holding their fourth annual car show on Sunday, June 8 beginning at 9am. The show will feature 17 different classes of classic cars to be judged for awards, which will be presented at 4pm. General admission for the show is only $3, and the event will fund many veteran and community charities locally as well as state-wide.
A handful of classic cars will be on hand at Oswego Speedway on Saturday to help pace both the Novelis Supermodified and Pathfinder Bank Small Block Super features.
