Over the years I have found that during the busy holiday season there are strategic ways to successfully connect and attract sponsors and opportunities to your racing program. This can be a tricky time of year to successfully make connections and get meetings. The “holiday season” affects all working people and people doing business – especially marketers.  This season consists of the few days before Thanksgiving, straight through to a few days after New Year’s Day.  Sometimes it is impossible to get people on the phone, answer emails or get them to even return a call. I know from experience it is almost impossible to get a corporate group meeting or get a decision or answer about sponsorship during this time.
