AUBURN, NH. 05/01/2013– On Friday night, May 3rd, the sun will set and the lights will come on for the 2013 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Opener at Lee USA Speedway. When the green flag waives
Mike Netishen will begin his sixth full time season of 350 Small Block Supermodified competition at the Lee, NH 3/8th mile oval. Netishen is a five time winner in the 350 SBS division at Lee, and is looking to continue the winning ways in 2013.
“We have a really strong car; we have proved that we can be a contender week in and week out” says Netishen.
The team plans to compete in all events in 2013 with the ultimate goal of winning the division championship.
After a strong preseason practice session the team is confident going into the May 3rd opener, but competition will be stronger than ever this year. “There are going to be a lot of strong cars this year, to contend for a championship we are going to need a total team effort”, says Netishen.
In addition to the full Lee USA Speedway 350 SBS schedule, Netishen has also set his sights on a limited ISMA Supermodified schedule. The current plan is to run a select number of New England ISMA Supermodified events. Details about which events the team will be running will be released at a future date.
